Duties Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance with meat selections, cuts, and preparation options Operate meat processing machines safely and efficiently for cutting, trimming, slicing, and packaging meats Prepare meat products according to food safety standards, including trimming, portioning, and wrapping for retail sale Maintain cleanliness by following strict sanitizing procedures for all food handling areas and equipment Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality control of all perishable goods and identify any products that do not meet standards Manage stock levels of meat products, monitor expiration dates, and rotate inventory to ensure freshness Assist with fish handling when required, ensuring proper storage and sanitation practices are followed Qualifications Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or retail store environments with a focus on meat or seafood handling Skilled in butchery, meat cutting, trimming methods, and knife skills for precise cuts Familiarity with food safety management protocols including sanitizing procedures and visual quality inspections Ability to perform basic math calculations for portioning and pricing purposes Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus; familiarity with food industry standards is highly valued Join us in delivering top-quality meats while providing outstanding service!
