About Valley View Casino & Hotel Valley View Casino & Hotel is looking for an experienced, friendly, and professional Table Games Dealer to join our casino team. If you enjoy creating a fun, guest-focused gaming experience while working in a fast-paced casino environment, we want to meet you. As a Table Games Dealer, you will be responsible for dealing assigned table games with accuracy and professionalism while following Valley View Casino & Hotel's policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable gaming regulations. What You'll Do Deal assigned table games accurately and professionally according to Valley View Casino & Hotel policies, procedures, and gaming regulations. Provide outstanding guest service by greeting guests in a courteous, caring, and professional manner. Create a fun, welcoming, and enjoyable gaming experience for guests. Protect the integrity and control of all table games, cards, cheques, racks, and gaming equipment. Handle player transactions accurately and notify the Floor Supervisor of disputes, irregularities, suspicious activity, or guest concerns. Stay current on table game procedures, department policies, property promotions, special events, and applicable gaming regulations. Promote Valley View Casino & Hotel's Standards of Excellence at all times. Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous presence on the casino floor. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required Qualifications Working knowledge of rules and procedures for the following games: Blackjack, including 3-2 and 6-5 Pai Gow Poker Ultimate Texas Hold'em Three Card Poker One year of table games dealing experience or certification from an approved dealing school. Dealing school graduates must upload certification with their application. Ability to successfully pass applicable auditions or skill testing. Ability to count cards accurately and deal a standard industry minimum number of hands. Ability to handle, cut, and manage cheques accurately and effectively. Ability to provide outstanding guest service and communicate professionally with guests and team members. Ability to speak, read, and understand English. Ability to apply basic math concepts, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. Ability to read and follow safety rules, instructions, guidelines, operating procedures, and policy manuals. Ability to maintain a consistent and regular attendance record. Ability to conduct all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner. Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency. Must successfully pass a drug screening test. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Working knowledge of rules and procedures for Roulette. Schedule Requirements Valley View Casino & Hotel is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Candidates must be flexible and available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Work Environment This position works on the casino floor and may be exposed to: Secondhand tobacco smoke Loud noise Moving mechanical parts Fumes or airborne particles Changing temperatures Indoor and occasional outdoor environmental conditions Wet and/or humid conditions Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this position, the Team Member may be required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use hands to handle cards, cheques, and gaming equipment. The Team Member must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Clear vision, including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, is required to perform essential job functions. Additional Information Native American hiring preference applies.
