- Delivers great customer service by dealing all games offered by Horseshoe Baltimore in a friendly and helpful manner with an upbeat/positive attitude.
- Assists in training guests not familiar with various table games products.
- Deal live poker games and poker tournaments.
- 6 months Dealing experience required for audition.
- Demonstrates an effective working knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures.
- Deals games in accordance with internal controls, MLGCA regulations and company policy.
- Maintains the pace of the poker game.
- Informs Supervisor and/or Manager of irregularities and disputes on game.
- Able to maintain applicable departmental dealer efficiency metrics.
- Enforces poker rules at the game.
- Works on the poker room floor in other capacities as directed by the Poker Floor Supervisor.
- Conducts the games in accordance with Company policies and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and gaming regulatory requirements.
- Verify and sign for Fills, Credits, Marker Issuance, and all documentation's listed in Horseshoes Internal Controls.
- Handling guest transactions and notifying Floor Supervisor of any irregularities.
- Support and maintain Horseshoe courtesy guidelines at all times.
- Promote outstanding guest and employee relations.
- Always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same
- Presents oneself in a polished, professional and service-minded way and encourages others to do the same.
- Responsible for Table Tray Bank assignments.
Additional Job Dimensions:

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. - Must be at least 21-years of age.
- Knowledge of casino rules, procedures and regulations as related to Poker.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential.
- Must be able to perform basic math quickly.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- A minimum of 3 years dealing and/or supervisory experienced preferred.
- Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts.
- Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
- Respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not become frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
- Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
