Job Description

The line between work and play is about to be blurred. We are looking for you to join our fun and energetic table games team as a Blackjack Dealer! While we show you around the tables, you'll be learning the ins and outs of the games and be shown that you can play games for a living! What qualifies you to be a dealer? Great customer service skills and the ability to be quick on your feet with basic math. Oh Yeah, we offer Paid Training! Classes beginning soon! Apply today! Come see what the Empire can do for you! Acknowledges, greets, and converses in English with customers who approach the Table Games area Deals assigned games by delivering cards or assigned games pieces, determining winners and losers, collecting, and paying bets Protects the integrity of games through observation and follows appropriate procedures Reads, verifies, and signs appropriate documents when necessary Greets guests with a proper company standard introduction and initiates conversation with guests Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies Work closely with supervisors, floor staff, and surveillance to ensure smooth operations Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills and be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language High School Diploma or GED Required Must be at least 19 years of age to work in the Casino Must be able to follow and understand directions Must be able to obtain a Nebraska Gaming License Good eye-hand coordination Excellent math skills Must be able to have a good relationship with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively Walk, stand, repetitive use of hands, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be able to accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines Must be able to work with the public in a professional manner While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly exposed to variable temperatures, bright flashing lights, and loud noise environment
