Job Summary:
Deal a variety of table games adhering to department and casino policies and procedures, gaming regulations and internal controlsEssential Job Functions:
- Provide friendly, fun, harmonious atmosphere for guests
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of all table games
- Assist guests with monetary and chip transactions at the table
- Compute payable odds to pay winning wagers and collect losing wagers
- Notify direct supervisor of any irregularities on assigned table to maintain security of game and casino assets
- Educate players on the proper rules and procedures on assigned game
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, extended hours, and irregular shifts
- All other duties as assigned by management pertaining to the performance of casino operation
Job Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must have Gaming Registration or the ability to obtain same
- Must be able to deal table games according to all rules and regulations
- Must have proven knowledge and experience on assigned games
- Must be able to mentally perform mathematical operations quickly and accurately while game is in progress
- Must be able to respond calmly and make quick rational decisions when handling guest's needs
- Professional appearance
Work Environment:
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to second hand smoke
- Must be able to tolerate a high noise level
- Must be able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Must have manual dexterity in hands and fingers
- Must be able to twist and turn with upper extremities, and reach with hands and arms
