FUNCTION
Deal the game of craps, in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a positive, professional, and congenial attitude with guests and Nugget team members. Deal assigned games in accordance with all current Table Games policies and procedures. Maintain personal appearance and uniform in accordance with company policies. Capable of standing in one place for extended periods of time, with repetitive arm and hand movements, during an 8-hour shift. Overtime may be required depending on business levels. Adheres to set department break schedules. Promptly refers all customer complaints and game errors to the area supervisor. Possesses knowledge of the property and upcoming events to efficiently answer guest inquiries, or if unable to answer, refers promptly to the area supervisor. Possess the physical mobility to encompass tabletop at assigned game to ensure adequate game security and meet customer demands. Has mobility and dexterity for range of motion, both left to right and right to left, bend, flexibility in fingers and hands to distribute/pick up cards, tokens, cash, and operate any other equipment needed to deal at assigned table. Receive coaching in a positive manner. Demonstrate support of company goals and direction positively in words and actions. Address guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all levels of the Nugget team and guests. Using the Nugget's system of recognition, recognize team members who are going "above and beyond" as appropriate. Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations. Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike. Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager. Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same. Regular predictable attendance is required. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Table Games Supervisor
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 21 years of age.
EDUCATION LEVEL
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
LANGUAGE
Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1 year of casino dealing experience required, with proficiency in two or more games.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Employee Gaming registration required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs. Fine finger manipulation. Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
