Job Description
Overview We are hosting a spiritual education seminar and need a chef that is familiar with Japanese cuisine from September 21st to the 26th. Responsibilities Cook a full spread lunch every day with attention to detail with allergies and food preferences. Keep a clean workspace. Communicate with the facilitators on ingredients needed for the meals that will be prepared. Manage inventory control and inventory management processes to minimize waste and optimize food costs. Maintain high standards of hospitality by serving guests professionally and efficiently while managing food service operations. Requirements Proven experience in banquet settings, fine dining establishments, or restaurant management roles with a focus on culinary excellence. The ability to work independently yet receive critique. Strong background in dietary department experience, catering services, or food production environments. Extensive knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitizing protocols, and kitchen management practices. Understanding of Japanese culinary customs.
