Sushi Chef Karma Sushi Bar Grill — Flagstaff, AZ Karma Sushi Bar Grill is hiring an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team in downtown Flagstaff. Karma has been serving Flagstaff since 2006 and is known for fresh ingredients, creative sushi, beautiful presentation, and consistently great service. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craft and wants to be part of a professional, hardworking kitchen team. What You'll Do Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, hand rolls, and specialty rolls to Karma standards Maintain excellent knife skills and proper food-handling techniques Prepare and maintain high-quality sushi rice and ingredients Execute tickets accurately and efficiently during busy service Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sushi station Follow food-safety, sanitation, and temperature-control standards Maintain consistent portions, quality, and presentation Communicate effectively with the kitchen and management team Help minimize waste and maintain proper product rotation What We're Looking For Previous professional sushi experience preferred Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and consistency Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Professional attitude and strong work ethic Pride in food quality and presentation Willingness to learn and follow Karma's recipes and standards Strong culinary candidates with limited sushi experience may be considered based on knife skills, kitchen experience, and willingness to learn.
