Job Description
Excecutive Chef Job Description:
Important Mexican Group opening a new high end restaurant in Gilbert, AZ and seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and creating a positive and productive work environment for our staff. The Executive Chef will play a key role in managing staff, inventory, budgets, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Operator :
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient and smooth service.Customer Service:
Maintain a high standard of customer service, addressing customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Inventory Control:
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.Financial Oversight:
Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures where applicable.Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.Marketing and Promotion:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, including promotions and special events.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on sales, staff performance, and other relevant metrics.Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations and best practices.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and point of sale (POS) systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 55 lbs
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$75,000.00- $85,000.
