In this role, you will craft authentic and visually stunning sushi dishes that delight our guests and elevate their dining experience. Your expertise in Japanese cuisine, attention to detail, and dedication to quality will be essential in creating a memorable culinary journey. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary artistry in a dynamic environment committed to our fresh, fast, and fun dining experience for customers. Duties Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation in all food preparation areas Select fresh ingredients and ensure proper storage to preserve quality and freshness Develop innovative sushi recipes and presentation styles to keep menus exciting and engaging Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Educate junior staff on sushi techniques, presentation, and safety protocols Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste through efficient practices Requirements Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, knife skills, and ingredient handling Ability to develop new recipes and adapt traditional dishes creatively Experience working with diverse customer preferences, including special dietary needs Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Passion for culinary arts, especially in sushi making, with an eye for detail and presentation Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Background in culinary education or related certifications is preferred but not required Join us if you're eager to bring your sushi-making talents to life in a lively setting where creativity meets precision.
