You will be spearheading our corporate catering department. Must be trend seeking, focused, organized, and passionate about cooking as well as hospitality. Our next cook will assist the Chef and Chef de Cuisine in managing kitchen operations of all deliveries + events, assisting and ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining company culture, and embodying our world of "virtuous hospitality". The cook will play a crucial role in BEO planning, food prep, food presentation, executing deliveries and drop-off catering, maintaining kitchen standards + "wowing" all guests with food flavors + appearance. Duties Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed effectively. Collaborate on menu development, including seasonal specials and catering offerings. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Train new kitchen staff on culinary techniques, food handling practices, and kitchen protocols. Participate in food preparation and cooking as needed, demonstrating culinary skills and creativity. Skills Strong background in hospitality with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proven experience in culinary arts with a solid understanding of cooking techniques and food presentation. Excellent shift management skills to coordinate kitchen activities effectively. Knowledge of banquet operations and catering services is advantageous. Proficient in food handling practices and kitchen management principles. Ability to supervise and manage a team while fostering a collaborative work environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Effective communication skills to interact with team members and other departments seamlessly. Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 45.0 per week
