Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Sous Chef, where your passion for food and leadership will elevate our kitchen operations to new heights! Duties Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Ensure adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and proper handling of ingredients to maintain the highest hygiene standards. Coordinate food production for various service types, including fine dining, catering events, and banquet functions. Manage inventory control and food management processes to optimize stock levels while minimizing waste. Support menu planning efforts by contributing culinary ideas that align with brand standards and customer preferences. Oversee shift management duties such as scheduling, training new team members, and maintaining smooth kitchen operations during service hours. Requirements Proven experience in food production within a restaurant or hospitality environment, with strong background in fine dining and catering. Demonstrated supervising experience with a track record of managing teams as a chef or kitchen leader. Extensive knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Hands-on experience with inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management systems. Strong culinary skills with expertise in cooking techniques and menu planning tailored to diverse dietary needs. Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Excellent communication skills paired with leadership qualities that motivate staff and ensure seamless operations.
