They will prepare salads, make dressings and desserts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and experience in various aspects of food preparation and service. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our kitchen operations, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards. Duties Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and menu plans. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry and kitchen areas. Handle food safely, adhering to all food safety regulations and guidelines. Support menu planning by providing input based on seasonal ingredients and availability. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods. Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation tasks. Ensure proper storage of food items to minimize waste and maintain freshness. Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred. Background in fine dining or restaurant settings is advantageous. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and food service within the culinary industry is required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
