Family:

A warm, easygoing family of four in Los Gatos is seeking an experienced Part-Time Private Chef to prepare fresh, healthy meals three days per week. The family values organic, high-quality ingredients and is looking for a friendly, inclusive chef who will be a comfortable presence in their home.

Responsibilities:

Prepare dinners, snacks, and occasional lunches, Plan weekly menus and accommodate dietary needs, Grocery shop and source fresh, organic ingredients, Prepare additional meals for off-days as needed, Package and store meals appropriately, Maintain a clean and organized kitchen

Food Preferences & Dietary Needs:

The family enjoys American, Italian, Persian, and French cuisine and prefers healthy, organic meals with no seed oils. Dietary considerations include s hellfish and nut allergies, soy sensitivity low-sodium meals for one family member, and no sushi or raw fish

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal chef has 5+ years of prior private chef experience with strong references and is confident accommodating allergies and dietary restrictions. The family is looking for someone who is friendly, flexible, family-oriented, inclusive, and easygoing, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Pastry or baking experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation:

$75-$90/hour DOE, plus grocery reimbursement.

Pay:

$75.00 - $90.00 per hour
