The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for innovative food presentation. This role involves overseeing all kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service are maintained across our establishment. The Executive Chef will play a pivotal role in menu development, inventory control, and maintaining compliance with health regulations while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Responsibilities 1.Menu Execution & Development Master authentic Cantonese cuisine (BBQ, seafood, soups, dim sum, etc.) Ensure consistent, high-quality food presentation and taste Regularly develop new dishes and improve existing menu items 2.Kitchen Operations Management Establish and optimize kitchen SOPs to improve efficiency and consistency Ensure full compliance with local food safety and health regulations in California 3.Team Leadership Build, train, and manage the back-of-house team Develop performance standards and conduct staff evaluations 4.Cost Control Manage food cost, inventory, and minimize waste Monitor purchasing and kitchen expenses to maximize profitability 5.Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with front-of-house and management teams Align menu development with overall brand positioning Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cantonese Executive Chef or senior-level chef Strong expertise in Cantonese cooking techniques and menu development Proven leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Must have legal work authorization in the U.S. Compensation & Benefits $80,000 annually Performance bonus + sales-based bonus Paid Time Off Transportation allowance + medical stipend
