PASTRY COOK
Hourly | Part-Time | $18.50-$22.00/hr We're looking for skilled, detail-oriented Pastry Cooks to join the culinary team at Huntress. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about pastry, thrives in a high-volume kitchen, and takes pride in quality, consistency, and presentation. What It Takes to Succeed Prepare pastries, breads, and other menu items according to recipes and chef direction Maintain quality, freshness, proper temperatures, and production levels Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards Minimize food waste and follow proper preparation and storage procedures Communicate effectively with chefs and work collaboratively with the culinary team Assist with daily kitchen setup, production, cleaning, and sanitation Education & Experience 2+ years of restaurant, bakery, or hotel culinary experience preferred Knowledge of chocolate, bread baking, and viennoiserie preferred San Diego County Food Handler Card required within 30 days of employment Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
