Our establishment is committed to crafting exceptional pastries, tarts, and desserts in a warm, inviting atmosphere. As we plan to expand with +10 locations across California, we're looking for a dedicated pastry chef eager to take on new challenges and grow with us.
Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of pastries, tarts, cakes, and other desserts following established recipes. Ensure all pastries are expertly decorated and presented with precision to delight customers. Operate and maintain baking equipment, ensuring functionality and safety. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines in the preparation, handling, and storage of ingredients. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and consistency in product quality. Maintain inventory and assist in ordering ingredients as needed.Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail in food quality, preparation, and presentation. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Experience with a variety of baking equipment and techniques. Culinary school background or prior experience as a pastry chef/baker is preferred. A passion for creating high-quality pastries and desserts with a French flair. Frequent walking, kneeling, bending and reaching overhead Able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 poundsWhat We Offer:
