Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee operations across multiple kitchens or culinary outlets, ensuring consistent execution of menus, recipes, and standards Support large-scale production, banquets, special events, and peak operational periods Lead culinary training initiatives, skill development programs, and standard operating procedures Assist with culinary budgeting, forecasting, and cost control strategies Partner with the Executive Chef to identify operational gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives Mentor Sous Chefs and kitchen leaders, reinforcing accountability, professionalism, and company values Consistent execution of culinary standards across kitchens and outlets Effective development of culinary leadership talent Improved operational efficiency and production consistency Strong compliance performance and inspection readiness Standardization of food safety practices across multiple kitchens Oversight of compliance programs and certification adherence across outlets Support for audit preparation and cross-property consistency Mentorship of Chefs and Sous Chefs on food safety leadership and compliance Multi-outlet food safety oversight Ensures kitchen leaders maintain required certifications and compliance Other related duties including but not limited to complying with the following: Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, Federal requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, Company Policies, and IRS reporting
Skills, Education and Other Requirement:
Must possess a minimum of five years' experience as a senior leader in culinary and/or a minimum of eight years in the culinary field in kitchen management A degree in Culinary Arts and Food Service Manager's Certification recommended Must have moderate computer skills, basic math skills and be able to read, write and have command of the English language Multi-unit culinary leadership experience Advanced culinary, operational, and production expertise Strong people management and coaching skills Ability to lead across diverse teams and concepts ServSafe Manager / Food Protection Manager Certification (required) Enterprise or corporate food safety leadership training (recommended) Identification that establishes identity Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States Don't want to drive to Black Hawk?
