Job Overview The newly renovated Stanley Chocolate Shops in Estes Park, CO is seeking a skilled and passionate Chocolatier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a particular emphasis on chocolate and pastry artistry. As a Chocolatier, you will be responsible for creating high-quality chocolate confections, ensuring exceptional presentation, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Responsibilities Create a variety of chocolate products including truffles, bonbons, and molded chocolates. Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to enhance visual appeal. Package finished products attractively for retail display while ensuring freshness. Develop new recipes and seasonal offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in inventory management of ingredients and supplies needed for production. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers about products and offering recommendations. Participate in catering events as needed, showcasing chocolate creations. Qualifications Proven experience in food production or preparation within the culinary or food industry. Strong baking skills with an emphasis on chocolate work; pastry experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment. Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail and creativity in presentation techniques. Exceptional customer service skills to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.
