Job Description
Sweet Basil is now hiring a dinner service pastry cook to join our team. This is a wonderful opportunity for an up and coming pastry professional to expand and refine their pastry knowledge, while collaborating and working in a team focused environment. The pastry cook will focus on composed plated desserts, general pastry production, garnish work, special creation, and station cleanliness. The pastry cook is involved in dessert production for both of our restaurants, Sweet Basil and Mountain Standard, allowing for a diverse approach to dessert styles. The pastry cook is a critical component to the success of our pastry team and is involved in all aspects of our pastry menus from start to finish. This position presents a great opportunity to bridge the gap between cook and chef, and to prepare this person for taking that next step in their careers.
