Job Description

Kinney Lane is a chef-driven prepared foods company focused on wholesome, seasonal meals that nourish our customers and our community. As we continue to expand our footprint across Fairfield and Westchester Counties and grow our physical retail presence, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our growing culinary team. This is a daytime role with tremendous growth potential for someone who is excited to lead, collaborate, and create in a fast-paced, purpose-driven kitchen. Work daytime hours Ample room to grow Work with healthy, seasonal products. Collaborative, no ego team Must have 4 years minimum in a professional kitchen and at least 2 years managing. Experience with healthy cooking is a plus.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations Experience with excel/google sheets strongly preferred Degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred, but not required. Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed Collaborating with other members of the management team to ensure that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently Participating in menu and recipe development, as well as developing and implementing food-cost controls
