Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Plan menus that meet dietary needs and preferences, ensuring nutritional balance and variety Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating with precision Maintain strict food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times Assist with kitchen organization, inventory management, and ordering supplies as needed Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards Serve meals efficiently in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen to ensure a safe working environment Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Strong background in menu planning, meal preparation, and food presentation techniques Extensive culinary experience with fine dining or restaurant settings preferred Excellent food handling skills with knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures Proficiency in food industry practices including cooking techniques, knife skills, and food service operations Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with catering processes and serving large groups effectively If you're passionate about creating exceptional dishes and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you!
