Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Garde Manger to join our culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting cold dishes, salads, charcuterie, and garnishes that elevate our dining experience. Your expertise in food presentation, food safety, and kitchen operations will ensure that every plate served reflects our commitment to quality and artistry. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble cold dishes such as salads, appetizers, charcuterie boards, and garnishes with precision and creativity Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, mixers, and refrigeration units Support high-volume food production while maintaining consistency in portioning, presentation, and quality standards Collaborate with culinary team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service delivery Follow recipes meticulously to ensure flavor consistency and presentation standards are met Experience Previous dietary aide experience or culinary background with a focus on cold food preparation preferred Proven experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings demonstrating excellent knife skills and food handling techniques Familiarity with menu planning, food safety management, and sanitation protocols essential for maintaining hygiene standards Experience operating kitchen equipment such as slicers, poachers, braising pans, grills, and other culinary tools required for diverse food production tasks Knowledge of catering processes and food industry best practices beneficial for supporting event-based service or large-scale meal prep Strong understanding of recipe adherence, food safety sanitizing procedures, and high-volume production experience necessary for success in this role
