Job Description

A confidential hospitality organization is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision and day-to-day kitchen operations of a high-end food and beverage operation. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented culinary leader who combines creativity, operational discipline, financial acumen, and strong team leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional culinary standards while developing a motivated, professional, and high-performing culinary team. Key Responsibilities Lead all culinary operations, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, flavor, and execution. Develop and evolve menus that reflect the concept, clientele, and culinary identity of the operation. Recruit, train, mentor, and retain a strong culinary team. Establish and maintain kitchen systems, standards, recipes, and procedures. Manage food and labor costs while maintaining quality and profitability. Oversee purchasing, inventory, vendor relationships, and product quality. Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, safety, and food-handling regulations. Collaborate with management and other departments to deliver an exceptional overall guest experience. Foster a professional, respectful, and accountable kitchen culture. Analyze culinary performance and implement improvements where appropriate. Remain actively engaged in the kitchen and lead by example during service. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have: Proven 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader in a high-quality hospitality environment. A strong culinary background with demonstrated creativity and attention to detail. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. A track record of developing and retaining culinary talent. Strong knowledge of food cost, labor management, purchasing, and kitchen financial controls. The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment. High standards for hospitality, cleanliness, consistency, and professionalism. A hands-on leadership style and genuine passion for food and people. Culinary education and/or significant equivalent professional experience is preferred.
