HRAIT, an employment agency (www.aitworks.com) is currently looking for a candidate to serve as a Sushi Chef at an American-owned sushi restaurant group opening a new location in Doral, Florida.
Working Hours:
5 shifts per week, based on a 40-hour workweek
Salary:
$75,000~$90,000 (DOE) ※Guaranteed compensation including hourly wages + tips

Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance HSA (Health Savings Account) Life / AD&D Insurance 401(k) Career advancement and promotion opportun The restaurant offers counter-style Omakase, serving sushi directly in front of guests, so strong sushi skills as well as customer service and communication skills are important for this position. <Responsibilities> ・Prepare and serve nigiri, sashimi, hand rolls, and other sushi items ・Prepare, handle, and properly store fish and other sushi ingredients ・Prepare and serve Omakase menus ・Manage and serve the Omakase course within the designated time ・Provide customer service and communicate with guests at the counter ・Monitor food quality and check inventory ・Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and at the counter ・Comply with food safety standards ・Collaborate with other Sushi Chefs and FOH staff ・Perform other duties related to sushi, kitchen, and counter operations <Requirements> ・At least 2 years of experience working as a Sushi Chef ・Experience preparing nigiri, sashimi, and hand rolls ・Strong knife skills ・Knowledge of fish preparation, handling, and storage ・Knowledge of food safety and sanitation ・Experience at an Omakase or counter-style sushi restaurant is preferred ・Comfortable communicating with guests ・Strong teamwork skills ・Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
