Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of desserts and sweets, including cakes, pies, cookies, breads, and pastries Develop new and innovative recipes Decorate cakes and baked goods Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas Prepare custom orders Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary Supervise pastry assistants and bakers

Qualifications :

Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment Knowledge of gluten-free baking, sugar-free baking, and other ingredient limitations Knowledge of food safety practices Previous experience decorating cakes Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Team player with strong leadership skills Available for early morning shifts
