Overview Grand Haven Golf Club is seeking a dynamic and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering outstanding dining experiences. This role requires a highly skilled professional with extensive culinary expertise, leadership ability, and a strong focus on food safety and quality. As an integral part of our management team, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, menu development, and food service management to uphold our standards of excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service. Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining cost control and inventory management. Oversee food production for various service settings, including fine dining, catering events, and banquets. Ensure strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures, hygiene standards, and dietary requirements. Manage inventory control, ordering supplies efficiently to minimize waste and optimize food costs. Implement training programs to enhance team skills in cooking techniques, food handling, and customer service. Coordinate shift management, ensuring smooth operations during peak hours and special events. Qualifications Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in culinary arts and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Extensive banquet, catering, and restaurant management experience within the food industry. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitizing procedures, and inventory control practices. Skilled in menu planning, food preparation, cost control, and managing food service operations. Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality excellence. Experience with dietary departments or specialized dietary needs is a plus. $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
