This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes and maintaining exceptional food safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring extensive culinary experience, leadership skills, and a passion for fine dining to our establishment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment, supporting menu development and overseeing daily food preparation operations. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff during service, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Oversee food handling procedures, maintaining strict compliance with food safety regulations. Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment sanitation. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on culinary techniques, safety protocols, and best practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Support catering events and special functions as needed, ensuring quality standards are met. Skills Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus. Strong background in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques. Extensive restaurant experience with a focus on fine dining environments. Proficiency in food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation. Knowledge of food industry trends, culinary techniques, and presentation skills. Ability to lead a team effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Experience in catering services and food service operations is desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and kitchen management.
