Private Chef & Nutrition Specialist Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Private Chef & Nutrition Specialist to provide personalized, nutritious meals for a private household in Tampa, FL. This role combines professional culinary expertise with a strong understanding of nutrition, dietary needs, and healthy food preparation. The ideal candidate will create fresh, primarily plant-based meals, develop weekly menus, source quality local ingredients, and manage grocery shopping and kitchen organization. This is a W-2 household position with the option for full-time or part-time employment.
Schedule:
Full-Time — approximately 40 hours/week OR Part-Time — approximately 3 days/week
Pay:
$35-$45/hour, based on experience and qualifications

ASAP Responsibilities Develop customized weekly menus based on nutritional needs, preferences, and dietary goals Prepare fresh, nutritious, primarily plant-based meals Grocery shop and source fresh, local and seasonal ingredients Prepare meals from whole, high-quality foods Maintain an organized kitchen and food inventory Accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and food preferences Maintain excellent food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Communicate with the family regarding menus, meals, and nutritional needs Experience & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional culinary experience Strong experience preparing plant-based, vegetarian, or vegan cuisine Formal education in Nutrition, Dietetics, Culinary Nutrition, Food Science, or a related field RDN/RD strongly preferred Proven experience in menu planning and nutrition-conscious meal preparation Private household or private chef experience preferred Strong grocery shopping, food sourcing, and kitchen management skills Professional references required Comprehensive background check required Reliable transportation required Professional, discreet, organized, and dependable Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a skilled chef with genuine nutrition expertise who understands how to create meals that are nutritious, balanced, fresh, and flavorful while independently managing menu planning, grocery shopping, food sourcing, and daily meal preparation.
