Sous Chef Local Three Kitchen & BarAtlanta, GA | Full-time | Salary up to $72,000 based on experience, plus quarterly bonus opportunitiesLocal Three Kitchen & Bar is looking for a sous chef who loves cooking, leads a strong service, and helps the people around them get better.
We re part of Unsukay, the Atlanta restaurant group behind Muss & Turner s, Eleanor s, MTH Pizza, and Roshambo. Our purpose is to make people feel good and our community a better place. We take our food and hospitality seriously and leave room to have fun doing it.
Our seasonal menus follow one mantra: You can t argue with delicious! The roleYou ll work alongside the Chef de Cuisine, fellow sous chefs, and front-of-house leadership to deliver consistent food and an organized, well-run kitchen.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading prep and service, maintaining standards for flavor, execution, and timing.
Training and coaching cooks, giving clear feedback, and holding the team accountable.
Planning production and station readiness so the kitchen is prepared for service.
Supporting ordering, receiving, inventory, and waste control.
Working with the chef on menu costing, product sourcing, and food-cost performance.
Maintaining food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization.
Communicating with front-of-house leadership to solve problems and take care of guests.
This is a hands-on kitchen leadership position. We re looking for someone who can cook, teach, organize, and follow through.
What we re looking forRelevant professional kitchen experience, including approximately 1 3 years leading people as a sous chef, kitchen manager, or lead cook with meaningful supervisory responsibility.
Strong cooking fundamentals and experience executing consistent food during busy service.
Examples of training cooks, addressing performance issues, and helping a team improve.
Experience with kitchen operations such as ordering, inventory, costing, or production planning.
Calm, direct communication and a willingness to accept feedback.
Availability for the evening and weekend schedule required by the role.

Attainable quarterly performance bonuses.
A scheduling goal of approximately 50 hours and two days off each week.
Support from a Chef de Cuisine, multiple sous chefs, a General Manager, and front-of-house managers.
Paid vacation: five days upon hire, five additional days after six months, 15 days after one year, and 20 days after three years.
Health insurance with an employer contribution, plus optional dental and vision coverage.
Company-paid life insurance and short- and long-term disability insurance.
A 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting after one year of service.
An annual anniversary cash bonus.
