Your leadership will be instrumental in driving culinary excellence, managing food production, and upholding the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Support the Executive Chef in supervising daily kitchen activities, including food preparation and presentation. Lead and motivate kitchen staff to deliver outstanding service and maintain high standards of food quality. Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures, ensuring compliance with all health regulations and safety protocols. Manage inventory control and food handling to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency. Assist with menu planning, catering operations, and special event preparations such as banquets. Monitor shift management, including scheduling, training new team members, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs while maintaining flavor and presentation standards. Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining, catering, and banquet services. Proven supervising experience managing kitchen teams in fast-paced environments. Solid knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitizing protocols, and hygiene standards. Expertise in food production, menu planning, and food service management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment. Experience with inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management systems. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff across various departments including hospitality and catering services.
