Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services while ensuring a seamless dining experience. This position requires a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar systems. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, relaying them to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in accordance with fine dining standards, ensuring presentation is impeccable. Assist with bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly. Uphold food handling standards to guarantee safety and sanitation in all aspects of service. Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items or specials. Skills Strong guest services skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for patrons. Experience with OpenTable or plsimilar reservation systems is preferred but not required. Background in food service or restaurant operations is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work well within a team environment while also being proactive in individual responsibilities. Familiarity with fine dining etiquette and standards is a plus.
