Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Cook/Hourly Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team and assist in leading our kitchen operations under the guidance of our Executive Chef. Key Responsibilities Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs in all aspects of kitchen management, including food preparation, inventory, staffing, and quality control. Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficiency, professionalism, and adherence to club standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment that complies with health and safety regulations. Assist in the development and execution of seasonal menus, special events, and private functions. Ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served. Monitor food costs, portion control, and waste management. Lead and mentor line cooks and prep staff to encourage skill development and career growth. Step into the role of Executive Chef when needed, maintaining high standards of kitchen operation. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of culinary experience in a fine dining or upscale kitchen environment. Prior experience as a Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook preferred. Culinary degree or equivalent training from an accredited institution is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. A passion for seasonal, high-quality ingredients and innovative cuisine. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification preferred). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evening service.
