Job Description

The Larrikin is a new restaurant concept launching in the former Garden Square space at 2400 Bull Street . We are currently open Wednesday through Sunday, 7am to 9pm. Within the next few weeks, we will expand to seven days a week. We are looking for a Chef de Cuisine to join us on the ground floor and play a key role in building and developing the restaurant as we grow. This is an opportunity for a motivated chef who enjoys being hands-on in the kitchen while also taking ownership of the day-to-day operation. The Chef de Cuisine will work closely with the leadership team to maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, organization, and hospitality while helping develop the team and the restaurant itself.
The ideal candidate will have:
Several years of experience in a chef-driven restaurant environment Strong cooking fundamentals and a genuine appreciation for food The ability to lead, train, and develop a kitchen team Excellent organization and attention to detail A strong understanding of kitchen systems, prep, ordering, inventory, and food cost The ability to maintain quality and consistency in a busy service environment A willingness to be hands-on and lead by example Flexible availability Dependability, good communication, and a positive attitude A desire to continue learning, developing, and taking on additional responsibility The Chef de Cuisine will be responsible for helping oversee daily kitchen operations, including prep, service, ordering, inventory, cleanliness, staff development, and maintaining our standards for food and execution. A typical work week consists of 5 days on and 2 days off . Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive salary based on experience, along with a full benefits package and 401(k) .
