As Chef De Rang in Remy , you will provide outstanding guest service and create a dining experience like no other. This French-inspired luxury restaurant serves gastronomic cuisine crafted by best-in-class Michelin star chefs.

Responsibilities :
How You Will Make a Difference + Detailed menu description to guests, take orders and then set table for each course + Coordinate service and ensure accurate timing and delivery of food to the proper table and guest + Lead all aspects of all side work and other tasks assigned by Management + Use computer work station (Micros system) + Coordinate the ordering, pick-up and delivery of all food and beverage to work station and to Guests + Partner with Demi Chef de Rang to provide a flawless experience to the Guests + Understand food safety programs and maintain USPH (United States Public Health) sanitation and cleanliness standards throughout work area + Practice up-selling and suggestive selling techniques + Follow all responsible vendor procedures for alcohol service + Bid fond farewell to all guests and ensure they enjoyed their dining experienceBasic Qualifications :
What You Will Bring to the Team + Minimum one year (two years recommended) recent experience in the service industry in a high-level fine dining restaurant setting + Experience in Michelin Star restaurant + Good knowledge of international wines and cocktail recipes, and brands of alcohol + Confident in speaking to well-traveled guestsAdditional Information :

role. You must: + Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel + Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities, and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan + Be willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control + If applicable, be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulationsYour Responsibilities:
+ Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this) + Complete a pre-employment medical + Obtain a criminal background check + Bring approved work shoes Disney Cruise Line is a drug-free workplace. All new hires are required to undergo drug/alcohol testing within the first week onboard and throughout their contracts.
