Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef to lead our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and preparing pastries and desserts. Your expertise in pastry preparation, cake decorating, and food production will help us deliver exceptional quality and presentation. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean workspace while adhering to food safety standards. Duties Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, cookies, and bread with precision and creativity with a staff of 5-6 Decorate cakes and desserts using advanced cake decorating techniques to ensure visual appeal Follow recipes accurately to maintain consistency in flavor and presentation Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, pastry bags, and other baking tools safely and efficiently Package baked items for retail or catering purposes while ensuring quality standards are met Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety management practices Assist in food preparation tasks related to pastry production and support overall kitchen operations Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for pastry production Uphold high standards of food handling, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times Qualifications Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role within the food industry with a focus on baked goods and pastries Strong skills in cake decorating, food preparation, and pastry preparation techniques Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume setting Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining creativity in presentation Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food handling procedures Experience with food safety management practices and maintaining a clean workspace Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes Previous catering or restaurant experience is preferred but not required Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while delivering high-quality products consistently We value energetic team players that ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

From $60,000.00 per year
