Job Description

Drury Lane is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. This position is primarily responsible for dessert plating and execution during service , while also assisting with pastry production for our restaurant, banquets, weddings, afternoon teas, brunches, and special events.
Pay:
$17-$20 per hour, based on experience
Hours:
Variable hours based on business needs. Availability may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing and organizing the dessert station, plating desserts accurately and consistently to established specifications, executing high-volume banquet dessert service, maintaining proper presentation and portion standards, and keeping the station clean, stocked, and ready for service. Between services and as business requires, this position will also assist with pastry production, including scaling recipes, baking, preparing components, assembling desserts, and completing daily prep. Previous professional pastry, bakery, or culinary experience is preferred, but we are also interested in candidates with a strong culinary foundation who want to develop their pastry skills. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, comfortable working with urgency during service, and attentive to the details that make a dessert look as good as it tastes. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in both plated dessert execution and high-volume pastry production.
