Overview Abreo is growing our kitchen team, and we're looking for people at all experience levels. Maybe you're an experienced line cook looking for a better kitchen and an opportunity to grow. Maybe you've worked in restaurants but haven't had the opportunity to learn serious cooking. Or maybe you're just starting out and want to learn the craft. We're interested in all three.

PAY:

$16-$25/HOUR Based on experience, ability and position. We're hiring for multiple kitchen positions and shifts, including: Prep cooks Line cooks Experienced cooks / chefs Full-time and part-time positions Day and evening shifts

NO FORMAL CULINARY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR ENTRY-LEVEL POSITIONS.

What matters most is that you s how up, work hard, want to learn and care about doing things well. At Abreo, you'll have the opportunity to learn and work with: From-scratch cooking Local and seasonal ingredients Meat and seafood fabrication Sauces and classical techniques Live-fire cooking Catering and special events Menu development and new dishes For experienced cooks, we're looking for people who can step onto a station, execute consistently and eventually take on additional responsibility. For less-experienced cooks, we'll teach you. Abreo has been part of downtown Rockford for more than 20 years. We're an independent, chef-driven restaurant—not a corporate kitchen.
