Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including overseeing food production, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. Lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and team collaboration. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards through proper handling, storage, and preparation of ingredients. Assist in menu planning and development to introduce innovative dishes that align with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences. Support catering events and banquet services by coordinating food preparation and ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes. Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining cuisine. Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience working within dietary departments or specialized menus. Skilled in food production, food handling, and food service management. Demonstrated leadership abilities with team management skills to foster a positive work environment. Experience in inventory management, inventory control, and cost optimization strategies. Familiarity with kitchen management systems, food safety protocols, and catering operations. Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Strong understanding of restaurant operations including menu planning, food preparation, and hospitality principles.
