Job Description

Chef de Cuisine | Silo Modern Farmhouse Silo Modern Farmhouse is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen alongside Corporate Executive Chef Laura Favela. This is a senior culinary leadership role with expected ownership of daily operations. What You Will Do Lead daily kitchen operations including prep, line execution, and service standards Manage, coach, and develop a team of sous chefs and hourly culinary staff Own food cost, inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and waste control Partner with the Corporate Executive Chef on menu development, seasonal features, and recipe specs Maintain health department, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times Build and manage kitchen schedules to hit labor targets Train the team on new items and hold the line on consistency What We Are Looking For 4 or more years of progressive kitchen leadership, including time as a Sous Chef or higher in a full service, scratch kitchen environment Real ownership of food cost and labor, not just familiarity with the reports Proven ability to develop people and keep a team together Menu development experience and a point of view about food ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days Ambition to grow with an expanding restaurant group Compensation and Benefits Monthly performance bonus Advancement opportunities across a growing restaurant portfolio Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401K and matching opportunity
