SOUS CHEF - LAROSA'S ITALIAN

We're looking for a chef who wants to grow. LaRosa's Italian in Newburyport is looking for a motivated Sous Chef who loves Italian food, scratch cooking, and wants to continue developing their craft. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced culinary leadership, learn our approach to Italian cooking, contribute your ideas, and grow within LaRosa Hospitality Group's multiple restaurant concepts.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As Sous Chef, you'll help lead our kitchen while maintaining our standards for quality, consistency, and hospitality. You'll have the opportunity to: Work with scratch-made Italian food and fresh ingredients Develop your skills in Italian cooking and pasta Work alongside experienced culinary leadership Help lead and develop our kitchen team Contribute ideas to menu and kitchen development Assist with daily kitchen operations and service Assist with ordering, inventory, prep, and food cost control Train and mentor cooks Continue developing your culinary and leadership skills

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or strong Line Cook leadership experience Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment A passion for Italian food and scratch cooking Strong communication and leadership skills Someone who takes pride in their food and their kitchen Someone who leads by example A team player who wants to continue learning and growing Italian restaurant or scratch-kitchen experience is a plus, but we're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to grow.

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
