We are looking to hire an experienced Pizza chef who will be working around other experienced kitchen professionals. We at Paddy's Pizza hold our kitchen and the staff within it to the highest regard. We aren't just another pizza shop kitchen looking to position staff because we need to fill hours. We are very careful with who we staff because we want our kitchen to run correctly, effectively and ultimately with a positive mindset. With the mature kitchen staff we have within the restaurant, as a prospective Pizza Chef; if you have passion for food, dedication to your kitchen skill then you will easily fall in line within the standard set. We recognize the backbone of any restaurant starts with the kitchen. Management will always look to place staff in position to win within their role of the team. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Support kitchen team members if and as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours. Assist in menu planning and suggest improvements based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food service environment. Strong proficiency in various cooking positions. I.e Grill, fryer, ovens ect. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently under timed pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. Prior experience in fine dining, catering, or the food industry enhances your candidacy.
