We are located on 38 Franklin Street. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable. You will be working under the supervision of the Sous Chef, the Chef De Cuisine, and the Owner/Executive Chef. You possess an inherent sense of urgency, a great sense of humor, the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, an unwavering positive attitude, honesty and integrity!
Additional requirements:
Knowledge of and interest in Japanese Cuisine and cooking techniques. Knife skills. Interest in learning all stations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work weekends, holidays, AM & PM shifts based on business needs. Maintain a positive attitude. Show integrity and respect. Work long hours on your feet. Lifting and carrying. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Working and moving quickly, with purpose Ability and knowledge of setting up/breaking down stations for service; Maintaining a clean and organized workstation Continued involvement in bettering food knowledge and technical skills Interest and participation in a supportive and respectful team environment
