We're a newly opened neighborhood sushi shop committed to fresh ingredients, fast friendly service, and a positive team culture. We're hiring a Part‑Time Sushi Maker to join our small crew. This role is perfect for students or anyone seeking flexible hours and a supportive work environment. What you'll do Prepare and roll sushi, nigiri, and hand rolls to our recipes and quality standards. Portion, slice, and plate fish and other ingredients safely and attractively. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all food‑safety procedures. Assist with prep tasks (rice, sauces, garnishes) and basic kitchen duties. Occasionally help with local deliveries (driving up to ~20 miles); driving is highly preferred but not mandatory. Provide friendly customer service at the counter when needed. Who we're looking for Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling is required . Sushi experience is highly preferred ; we will train motivated beginners. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts . Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and collaborating with a small team. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle preferred for delivery shifts (not required). Hours and pay Part‑time; flexible scheduling — great for students.
Pay:
