Responsibilities Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service delivery. Plan and develop menus that align with culinary trends, dietary requirements, and guest preferences. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, maintaining stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective cost control measures. Enforce food safety sanitizing procedures and uphold strict hygiene standards across all kitchen areas. Coordinate banquet services, ensuring timely execution and exceptional guest satisfaction. Monitor shift operations, manage staffing schedules, and provide leadership to foster a positive team environment. Qualifications Proven experience in banquet cooking, elevated pub dining establishments, or restaurant management with a strong culinary background. Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment with team management responsibilities. Knowledge of dietary department requirements and food handling safety protocols. Skilled in food production, menu planning, and food service management practices. Familiarity with inventory management systems, cost control strategies, and kitchen equipment operation. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively. Strong understanding of food safety sanitizing procedures and compliance with health regulations.
