Job DescriptionYour responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in the leadership role of managing all aspects of the back of house (kitchen) responsibilities for venue. Leading the whole team by example starting with the responsibility to always report for your shift punctually, in full uniform according to appearance and grooming standards. Creating an environment for the staff that fosters a 'One Team with One Goal' mentality. This includes providing a collaborative atmosphere where all teams are free to ask questions, for support and give/receive respectful constructive criticism and feedback. Any areas that need to be immediately addressed at the start of the shift should be first priority. This can include schedule coverage, menu changes, prep needs or special orders. Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of all menu items, services and technology offered by all the outlets. Identify and implement processes to improve the consistency of service excellence Ensure that operations are effectively and efficiently carried out, while continually looking for ways to improve the outlet operations to increase revenue and decrease cost. Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to.
