We're seeking a skilled and motivated Head Chef to lead our back-of-house operations, drive culinary excellence, and inspire a high-performing kitchen team.
Head Chef Responsibilities:
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards. Develop and execute seasonal and signature menu items in collaboration with leadership. Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and manage vendor relationships. Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Schedule and manage BOH staff to ensure efficiency and consistency. Participate in hiring and performance evaluations of kitchen personnel. Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Implement systems for prep, plating, and kitchen organization to maximize productivity.
Head Chef Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef (3+ years preferred). In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Experience with inventory management and cost control.
