Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Executive Chef to help lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This pivotal role combines creative menu development, team leadership, and operational excellence to ensure our culinary offerings exceed guest expectations. As an energetic leader with a keen eye for quality and detail, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, kitchen management, and food service operations, fostering a vibrant and efficient kitchen environment. Your expertise in fine dining, catering, and banquet services will drive the success of our culinary initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hospitality. Duties Lead the development and execution of innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends and meet guest preferences, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Supervise and motivate culinary staff, including cooks, and kitchen assistants, to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and serving processes to ensure efficiency and consistency across all service periods. Manage inventory control and food management systems to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality. Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions by planning menus, supervising food production, and ensuring timely delivery of services. Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards to guarantee a safe environment for staff and guests alike. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to synchronize service flow, enhance guest satisfaction, and uphold the establishment's reputation for excellence. Conduct regular training sessions on food handling techniques, culinary skills, dietary accommodations, and hospitality best practices to foster continuous improvement. Oversee shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet fluctuating demands while maintaining team morale. Maintain detailed records related to inventory levels, safety inspections, staff performance, and operational procedures for accountability and continuous improvement. Experience Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced culinary environment with a focus on fine dining or upscale restaurant management. Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food production, cooking techniques, menu planning, and food presentation. Demonstrated success managing large-scale catering operations or banquet services with attention to detail in event coordination. Knowledge of inventory management systems and cost control strategies within the food industry. Familiarity with dietary department protocols including special dietary needs and allergy awareness. Experience overseeing food safety programs & standards is essential. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire teams while maintaining high standards of hospitality excellence.
