Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring that every meal meets our restaurant's standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Assist in inventory management, including tracking food supplies and placing orders as necessary. Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed to maintain food safety. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process to ensure consistency. Participate in daily prep work for upcoming shifts, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and preparing sauces. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or as a cook is preferred. Knowledge of inventory control processes and practices. Familiarity with food handling guidelines and food safety regulations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Experience in restaurant management or hospitality is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
