Job Description
We are seeking a talented and dedicated personal chef to prepare nutritionally balanced meals for our household. You will plan, shop for, and prepare 4-5 dinners and 4-5 lunches per week, with a strong focus on healthy eating principles. This is a flexible, part-time position requiring approximately 10 hours per week across two days (ideally Monday and Thursday, though other days are negotiable). Key Responsibilities Plan weekly menus tailored to high-protein, high-fiber, low-calorie, and low-carb dietary requirements Shop for fresh, high-quality ingredients and maintain organized meal prep systems Prepare meals across two designated days per week (~5 hours per day), with meals portioned and stored for consumption throughout the week Demonstrate expertise in healthy cuisine preparation, including Asian, Mexican, Mediterranean, and other globally-inspired dishes Manage food inventory, storage, and kitchen cleanliness Collaborate with household members to adjust menus based on preferences and dietary feedback Required Qualifications Certified culinary training or equivalent professional kitchen experience Deep knowledge of nutrition, particularly high-protein and high-fiber meal design Demonstrated expertise in Asian, Mexican, Mediterranean, and other health-focused cuisines Ability to manage macronutrient balance (protein, fiber) while keeping calories and carbohydrates low Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficiency with meal planning, inventory management, and food safety protocols Excellent communication skills and ability to incorporate feedback and preferences Preferred Qualifications Experience with weight management, fitness nutrition, or wellness coaching Knowledge of macronutrient tracking and meal composition Experience with dietary restrictions or specialized eating protocols References from previous personal chef or private household cooking positions
Schedule and Work Arrangement Hours:
